Word Otter is an offline-first children’s flashcard app. We designed it to provide its active learning experience without requiring an account, network connection, or data profiling.
Word Otter does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, device identifiers, usage analytics, precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising data.
All settings, learning history, and language preferences are stored strictly locally on your physical device. We have no access to this data.
Word Otter does not request, solicit, or receive personal information from children. The App does not include third-party advertising, third-party analytics, social sharing features, or user-generated content.
To guarantee children's safety, all transaction elements, external links, and restore operations are locked behind a parental gate.
In-App Purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store Connect payment platform. We do not receive, process, or store credit card details or bank transaction information. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s standard Privacy Policy.
All card decks, voice synthesis systems, illustration resources, and databases are completely bundled with the App installation package. The App does not rely on any remote servers to operate, keeping your learning offline and private.
If Word Otter’s data practices or app capabilities change in future versions, this policy and the App Store Connect disclosures will be updated prior to release.
